QNAP has unveiled its new QSW-M2130 series of managed switches, featuring both 2.5GbE and 10GbE ports. The series includes two models: the standard QSW-M2130-2C2S26T and its Power over Ethernet++ (PoE++) counterpart, the QSW-M2130P-2C2S26T. These 1U switches are
designed to serve as the backbone for future network buildouts and upgrades, particularly for businesses. The non-PoE model offers 24 2.5GbE RJ45 ports for client connectivity and eight 10GbE ports for uplink capabilities, which include a mix of SFP+ and RJ45 combo ports, as well as dedicated SFP+ ports. The PoE++ version, the M2130P, provides similar functionality but with a total PoE power delivery capacity of 375 Watts, with varying power limits across its 2.5GbE and 10GbE RJ45 ports. Both switches are managed via QNAP's QSS web management software, offering a full suite of network management features such as VLANing, access control lists, and QoS prioritization.
