Terra Innovatum Global has announced a non-binding letter of intent with Latin American media group Waiken ILW to deploy its SOLO micro-modular reactor platform. This initiative aims to support the data centre infrastructure of broadcasting and streaming
services providers, including DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brazil. The agreement covers up to 8MWe of behind-the-meter capacity, delivered via multiple SOLO units. The SOLO reactor, a microreactor capable of scaling up to 1GW of CO2-free power, is designed to replace fossil fuel-based thermal plants efficiently. This marks Terra Innovatum's first commercial deployment in Latin America, reflecting a growing demand for micro-modular nuclear power.
