iRobot has launched its first wet-and-dry mop, the Roomba Electro Plus, which uses electricity to disinfect floors without chemicals. This new product marks iRobot's entry into the non-robot vacuum market, utilizing electrolyzed water to kill 99.99% of
bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The Electro Plus is designed to be environmentally friendly and safe for pets and children, as it does not require traditional cleaning solutions. It features a PowerSpin roller mop with automatic dirt detection and anti-hair wrap technology. The device is lightweight, can lie flat to clean under furniture, and has a battery life of 35 minutes in eco-mode. The Electro Plus will be available for $400 starting July 7.
