Jaslene Massey, a multi-talented athlete from Aliso Niguel High School in California, secured a silver medal in the discus event at the World Athletics U20 Championships held at Hayward Field. Massey, who is also a licensed realtor and volleyball player,
competed in both the discus and shot put finals within a 24-hour period. Despite the challenging schedule, she delivered a strong performance in the discus, achieving a throw of 58.41 meters. China's Yixin Su won the gold with a throw of 61.06 meters.
