Jon Warga, head coach of the Golden High School flag football team, has been recognized as the Broncos High School Flag Coach of the Week. In its second season, the Golden team is off to a strong 3-0 start under Warga's leadership. The Denver Broncos,
in collaboration with CHSAA, will continue to honor one flag football coach and one tackle football coach each week throughout the season. All coaches recognized with this honor will be celebrated on the field during a pregame ceremony at Broncos home games. Warga's coaching journey began when his son wanted to play, leading him to create a successful traveling tournament team before being approached by Golden's athletic director to coach at the high school level.
