Gustavo Dudamel, the departing music and artistic director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will perform a final benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl on August 23. The concert, originally titled 'Celebrating Gustavo at the Bowl: A Musical Legacy,' has
been renamed 'A Concert for Venezuela' to support relief efforts following devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. Dudamel, a native of Venezuela, expressed his commitment to aiding his homeland, emphasizing the resilience of the Venezuelan people. The concert will raise funds for the Earthquake Recovery to Support Venezuelan Communities fund, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
