What's Happening?
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard has teamed up with WAH-WAH for their third collaboration, resulting in a new jumper inspired by Amy Jean's artwork for the band's 2025 US tour posters. The jumper, made from 100% RWS-certified merino wool, features bold
artwork and is available for pre-order, with shipping scheduled for November. This collaboration marks the first time WAH-WAH has worked with the same artist three times. Notably, all band royalties from this collaboration will be donated to Our Watch, an organization dedicated to preventing violence against women and their children in Australia.
Why It's Important?
This collaboration highlights the intersection of art, music, and social responsibility. By donating all royalties to Our Watch, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is using their platform to support a significant cause, potentially influencing other artists and brands to consider similar philanthropic efforts. The collaboration also underscores the importance of sustainable fashion, as the jumper is crafted from RWS-certified merino wool, aligning with growing consumer demand for environmentally conscious products. This initiative not only strengthens the band's brand image but also raises awareness about violence prevention, potentially inspiring fans and the broader community to engage with and support similar causes.
