What's Happening?
Pacgold has successfully completed its second gold doré pour at the White Dam Gold Project in South Australia. The 97oz gold bar was produced from material leached from aerated zones on the pad's edges. The company is continuing re-crushing activities,
with significant material already processed. Drilling at White Dam North is underway, and a 3,000m reverse circulation drilling program at the Vertigo prospect has been completed. Pacgold is working with Entech on an updated mineral resource estimate and is considering an earlier restart of the Vertigo pit.
Why It's Important?
The successful gold pour marks a significant milestone for Pacgold, enhancing cash flow and supporting the company's expansion plans. The ongoing drilling and resource estimation efforts aim to increase the project's resource base, potentially accelerating mining operations. This development is crucial for Pacgold's growth strategy and could attract further investment. The expansion of the heap leach pad and potential early restart of the Vertigo pit highlight the project's scalability and the company's commitment to maximizing resource extraction.
