USA Rare Earth has signed agreements to acquire a 13.6% minority stake in Carester, a French company specializing in rare earth processing and separation. This strategic investment is part of a broader effort to integrate Carester's capabilities into
USA Rare Earth's global platform, enhancing its mining, metal making, and magnet manufacturing businesses. The Caremag facility in France is expected to produce significant quantities of neodymium-praseodymium oxide, dysprosium oxide, and terbium oxide, accounting for around 15% of current global production of these materials. The investment is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, pending customary closing conditions.
