What's Happening?
Tom Clifford has taken on an expanded leadership role within NFP, an Aon company, as the leader of U.S. brokerage and account management in the construction and infrastructure (C&I) group. Based in New York, Clifford will now oversee the C&I brokerage strategy,
manage relationships with insurers and wholesalers, and supervise account management personnel for all construction property and casualty lines. His responsibilities also include enhancing protocols for contractors and developer clients. Previously, Clifford served as senior vice president for NFP's Northeast and Atlantic regions.
Why It's Important?
Clifford's expanded role at NFP signifies a strategic move to strengthen the company's position in the construction and infrastructure sectors. By consolidating leadership and enhancing management protocols, NFP aims to improve its service offerings and client relationships in a competitive market. This development is crucial for stakeholders in the construction industry, as it may lead to more efficient brokerage services and better risk management solutions. The move also reflects broader trends in the insurance industry, where companies are increasingly focusing on specialized leadership to navigate complex market dynamics.
