The Christian Science Reading Room has officially reopened its doors in Downtown Burien, located at 441 SW 152nd Street. This public resource aims to provide a welcoming space for individuals interested

Visitors can access a variety of resources, including books on spirituality, prayer, and healing, the Holy Bible and related reference books, 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' by Mary Baker Eddy, and 'The Christian Science Monitor' for global news perspectives. The Reading Room also offers Bible stories and resources for children, Christian music, and materials for those curious about Christian Science and its approach to spiritual healing. Friendly staff are available to answer questions. Christian Science Reading Rooms have been a community fixture worldwide for over a century, with the first established in 1888. The Burien location is maintained by members of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Burien, which is adjacent to the Reading Room.
