What's Happening?
The Independent Show, co-hosted by the National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC) and ACA Connects, is set to take place from July 26-29 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This annual event will focus on the key policy issues and technology trends affecting
small and midsized cable and fiber operators. Over 1,000 industry professionals are expected to attend. The agenda includes discussions on network deployment policies, competition strategies, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in operations. Notable speakers include Noelle Russell, founder of the AI Leadership Institute, FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty, and Jim Holanda, CEO of Cable One. The event will also address the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program and the challenges faced by independent operators in a competitive market.
