Walmart and Sam’s Club have just launched a joint membership that might offer more value (and savings) than any
other membership program.
The new offering combines Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus into one membership that costs $120 a year, which is nearly $100 less than the two memberships used to cost separately. That means you get all the benefits of a warehouse membership and the perks of a major retail subscription for almost half the price that it used to cost.
“We’re giving people a reason to expect more from their memberships,” Walmart CEO John Furner said in a statement. “For $120 a year, we’re raising expectations for what a membership can deliver: more money in their pockets and more time to call their own.”
If you’re already subscribed to Sam’s Club, upgrade to Sam’s Club Plus for $60 more a year to get Walmart+. If you already have a Walmart+ annual plan, upgrade to the joint membership for $22 more a year. Already subscribed to both? Link your accounts here, and you’ll get a prorated refund for Walmart+.
Ahead are some of the best perks of the new Sam’s Club Plus and Walmart+ joint membership.
Sam’s Club Plus, Walmart+ Membership Perks: Deals, Free Shipping, & More
The perks of the new joint Sam’s Club and Walmart+ membership are extensive, ranging from discounts to faster shipping to free streaming services. Here are some of the standout perks that members can enjoy:
Paramount+ or Peacock for Free
Walmart+ offers a choice of either Paramount+ or Peacock at no additional cost, which means you can now get that perk through the Sam’s Club Plus membership.
Gas Savings
Another place you’ll save with the Sam’s Club and Walmart membership is at the gas station. If you’re a member, you’ll get 10 cents off per gallon at over 17,000 gas stations across the country.
Sam’s Club Members-Only Prices
For families or large households, there are few better ways to save money than buying in bulk from a warehouse membership like Sam’s Club. With a membership, you can stock up on household essentials and groceries for less, and you’ll get access to affordable Member’s Mark products only available at Sam’s Club.
Free Delivery From Walmart and Sam’s Club
With the new combo membership, you’ll be able to get free deliveries on products from both Sam’s Club and Walmart. That means bulk groceries and essentials from Sam’s Club, plus retail items from Walmart, all delivered to your doorstep quickly and cheaply. (Some minimum order value and service fees may apply).
2% Sam’s Cash On Eligible Purchases
When you make eligible purchases at Sam’s Club, you’ll get two percent back in cash to use on future purchases at the warehouse retailer.
