Fashion designer Thom Browne is putting his stamp on Bose’s QuietComfort wireless headphones, turning the popular
everyday tech accessory into a limited-edition, grail-worthy pickup.
The Thom Browne for Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones first debuted during the designer’s Fall 2026 runway show in February, and they’re now being made available to the public, retailing for $950 on Bose.com.
A classic grey suit is the starting point for every Thom Browne project and it’s similarly the foundation for this new collaboration. The headphones take inspiration from Browne’s tailored suiting and luxe fabrications, adding a generous swath of cashmere around the headband and memory foam ear cushions, with the fashion label’s signature “four bar” branding imprinted on the exterior ear cups.
Thom Browne’s instantly-recognizable red, white, and blue stripes line the inside of the ear cups, while a grosgrain loop in the same colorway adorns the top of the headband, making it an instant status symbol whether the headphones are worn on your head or resting around your neck.

The Thom Browne Bose headphones are available now for $950. Your purchase includes a specially-designed storage case that is also lined in grey cashmere and embossed with the brand’s four-stripe logo.
As Browne explains in a press release, “each element, from the material design choices to Bose’s expert engineering, connects back to tailoring, the discipline of precision, and a distinct point of view.”
The designer said he wanted to emphasize “classic fabrications,” while noting that “Bose really respected my design approach, which was so important to me when we worked on this.”
While Bose has partnered with musicians in the past, the electronics brand says they wanted to elevate the visual language of their products.
“Design has always mattered at Bose,” says Jim Mollica, President, Luxury Consumer Audio & Chief Marketing Officer at Bose. “Great technology shouldn’t ask people to choose between performance and how something looks, feels, or fits into their life. That’s one reason working with Thom was so compelling. We understand sound, engineering, and how people experience music. Thom understands fashion, materials, and the incredible emotional power of detail. When those two perspectives collide in the right way, you get something much more interesting than either of us simply staying in our own lane.”
Discussions for the collaboration began more than a year ago, with both parties going “incredibly deep into the details,” per Mollica. Browne, meantime, says he was intrigued to put his name and designs on a pair of headphones, adding that he approached the Bose project in the same way that he approaches a new collection.
“I always approach design in a way that feels true to me [and] that’s exactly what you see in my collaboration with Bose,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Sound is so important to everything I do, from my morning run to the soundtracks for my shows,” he adds. “It felt so natural to incorporate this in a bigger way — in my way.”

Browne’s designs have been seen on everyone from LeBron James and the Rock, to Demi Moore and Olivia Wilde, and this collaboration also reimagines headphones as a fashion accessory.
“It feels completely obvious that headphones would become part of your wardrobe,” Mollica says. “They’re one of the few things you might wear for hours every day, and they connect you to something incredibly personal: your music.”
“Think about what it means when somebody tells you the music they love,” Mollica continues. “It tells you something about who they are, where they came from, the communities they belong to, and how they see the world. Your music collection (or now your playlists) can be a window into your heart and soul. Fashion does something very similar. It’s another language people use to tell the world who they are without having to say anything.”
The new headphones boast both aesthetic and audio prowess of course, with noise-cancellation technology, immersive spatial audio, and up to 30 hours of battery life. Bose’s “Cinema Mode” offers wider soundscapes when listening to music, while honing in on dialogue when watching TV shows or movies.
As Mollica explains, “That’s what makes the Thom Browne collaboration so special. It isn’t fashion being applied to technology,” he explains. “It’s two different forms of self-expression, music and style, coming together in one piece.“
