Nordstrom’s annual Anniversary Sale is live, with the retailer promising discounts of up to 70% off across top
clothing, footwear, beauty and accessories brands online.
This year’s sale runs through Aug. 9 and the deals are open to everyone to shop, though Nordstrom credit card holders got early access before anyone else. Card holders also get an instant $60 discount off their cart and more points per purchase.

What Is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Nordstrom’s annual deals event dates all the way back to the 1920s, and commemorates the opening of the first Nordstrom retail location — a shoe store named Wallin & Nordstrom — in August of 1901.
Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is not to be confused with the store’s “Half-Yearly Sale,” which takes place semi-annually in May and December.
