The Buffalo Bills’ half-century pursuit of a Super Bowl victory — and their diehard fans’ unending hope to witness a championship — is the focus of a new docuseries heading to Tubi next month.
Just One Before I Die — directed by Addison Henderson and Kevin
Polowy, both members of the “Bills Mafia” — features interviews with Bills greats like Jim Kelly, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Andre Reed, NFL commentators like Adam Schefter and Nick Wright, and long-suffering Buffalo natives like Chad Michael Murray.
All five episodes of Just One Before I Die, coproduced by LeBron James’ Uninterrupted, will premiere October 21 on Tubi.
“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Tubi and Uninterrupted to give an inside look into unwavering devotion of Bills fans,” Henderson and Polowy said in a statement (via The Hollywood Reporter).
“We’ve spent nearly three years embedded with these ‘joyfully crazy’ fans, and it’s been a true honor to take on the responsibility of depicting to the world why Bills Mafia is the best fanbase in sports. As City of Buffalo natives and die-hard Bills fans ourselves, now all we need is a Super Bowl win to die happy.”
Just One Before I Die arrives amid a season that has even the most cautious Bills fans optimistic: The team, guided by quarterback and 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen, has started the season 2-0, with even Las Vegas oddsmakers putting the Bills as the favorite AFC team to reach the Super Bowl.
