Amazon’s October Prime Day (a.k.a. “Prime Big Deal Days“) is here, and while the retailer has promised “millions”
of deals across tech , apparel, toys and more, you can also score a massive discount on a subscription Audible, the popular audiobook streaming platform.
Right now, Prime members can get Audible Standard for just $0.99/month for three full months. That’s right, you can access thousands of audiobooks online for less than $1/month — an 89% savings off the regular price of $8.99. The deal also gets you a $20 site credit redeemable on Audible.com.
You can then cancel your subscription before your three months are up or continue on at the regular $8.99 rate afterwards. This is a limited-time offer that expires at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 7.
The new offer gets you access to Audible’s huge library of content, which includes unlimited on-demand access to the latest audiobooks, podcasts, and Audible Originals, including the full-cast audio editions of the Harry Potter series, which was released last fall, and the just-released Dracula Audible original, featuring Jonathan Bailey as the titular character.
NEW AUDIBLE ORIGINAL
Bram Stoker's Dracula
The new release also features the voices of Ella Purnell, Aimee Lou Wood, Louis Partridge, David Jonsson, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
You can purchase a download of the audiobook (with a runtime of just under six hours) for $13.96 or listen to it for just $0.99 with the current Audible promotion.
You’ll also have access to Audible bestsellers and book-to-screen adaptations like Colleen Hoover’s Verity, Project Hail Mary, Mel Robbins’ The Let Them Theory, and Elle Kennedy’s, The Deal, which inspired the Prime Video series, Off Campus.
This is the best Audible offer available right now and one of the best Audible deals we’ve seen online. In fact, even the $8.99 monthly price after the discount is over, is still cheaper than the $14.95 subscription price Audible was charging last year.
A bonus: get one title a month that is yours to keep. The books you select can be streamed online, or downloaded and added to your library, and they can be accessed on Audible’s website, the app on iOS or Android, or through an Echo device. You can keep that audiobook even after your free trial is up.
This offer is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, so you’ll need to log in with your Prime membership details to view the offer. Not a Prime member? Get a 30-day free trial to test out the service here.
