The Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot may be dead, but the high school Slayer is getting a new lease on life in plastic.
Monster High is honoring the cult-favorite series with a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer collector doll setfeaturing Buffy Summers and Angel, two of Sunnydale’s most recognizable residents. The two-pack arrives months after Sarah Michelle Gellarconfirmed that Hulu had passed on the long-awaited reboot, giving fans another way to revisit the supernatural series while they wait for Buffy’s next chapter.
For anyone who spent the late Nineties and early 2000s watching Buffy save the world between classes, the set is packed with familiar details. The Buffy doll is dressed for battle in a black pleather jacket, red pants, and a holster belt, channeling the character’s unmistakable SoCal style with the practical gear of a seasoned Slayer. She also comes equipped with two of her essential weapons: a stake and a crossbow.

Monster High Skullector Buffy The Vampire Slayer Doll
Two-Pack
Newly available on Amazon, this Monster High Skullector set features Buffy Summers and Angel in outfits inspired by their looks from the cult series. The two-pack comes with accessories, display stands, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Even Buffy’s accessories get a deep-cut treatment. Her book-shaped handbag is a nod to Giles, the Watcher who helped guide her through countless supernatural threats, while additional weapons are hidden in the heels of her boots.
Angel, meanwhile, looks ready to brood in the shadows in a black faux-leather trenchcoat. His necklace takes inspiration from the sword Buffy wields against him in a pivotal season finale, giving the doll a detail longtime fans will appreciate. Each Monster High Buffy the Vampire Slayer doll stands approximately 11.25 inches tall.

Funko POP! TV: Buffy the Vampire Slayer – Buffy Summers with Scythe
Amazon also has this Funko Pop! of Buffy Summers, complete with one of the Slayer’s most recognizable weapons.
The figure is made from vinyl, stands about 3.75 inches tall and arrives in a windowed box that lets collectors display it without taking it out of the packaging.
The timing feels particularly fitting. Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted on the WB in 1997 and ran for seven seasonsthrough 2003, becoming a pop-culture touchstone by blending horror, comedy, romance, and the very real anxieties of adolescence. Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Buffy was never simply a superhero in a cheerleader’s wardrobe. She was funny, flawed, stubborn, vulnerable, and, when necessary, extremely good at killing vampires.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Series
More than two decades later, the series’ influence remains strong enough to inspire new collectibles, even without a new chapter on television. The proposed reboot, which would have seen Gellar return to the role, was announced in 2025 with Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao attached to direct. But in May, Gellar confirmedthat Hulu had decided not to move forward with the project.
Until Buffy returns to the screen, fans can revisit Sunnydale through Monster High’s collector set. And considering Buffy’s track record, fighting evil was never going to stay in one medium for long.
