What is the story about?
The second iteration of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Field of Vision festival took place this weekend at Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado. Each night of the festival featured a three-hour, marathon headlining set by Gizz — and also included
a curated lineup of friends and collaborators from across the world, among them Quebec’s Angine de Poitrine, Zambia’s W.I.T.C.H., Denver’s own Blood Incantation, and New Zealand’s Earth Tongue. The multi-day bash provided nearly 24-hour entertainment across three stages, culminating in a drag-themed Sunday evening event hosted by drag queen Pattie Gonia. Words and photos by Griff Lotz.
