The second North American leg of My Chemical Romance’s Black Parade tour is in the home stretch, with Gerard
Way and Co. performing their classic 2006 album in full, plus a packed setlist of their greatest hits. This U.S. leg wraps up at the end of October with a whopping five nights at the Hollywood Bowl, with the final show fittingly set for Halloween. It marks the first time a band has performed five nights at the Bowl, according to the venue.
The Used and Thrice will support the band on the Oct. 30 and 31 dates, respectively. No openers have been named for the first three dates.

Before then, the band will perform at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on Oct. 1. The four-day fest also features Tool, Limp Bizkit, Pierce the Veil, Queens of the Stone Age, the Offspring, Wu-Tang Clan, and more.
The band are also marking the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade with merch and listening parties on Oct. 23, fittingly hosted by Hot Topic. My Chemical Romance will also release deluxe anniversary editions of the emo classic on vinyl, CD, and cassette.

Naturally, the band dialed up the theatrics for the anniversary of The Black Parade, with a high-concept show centered on a fictional (but maybe not so far-fetched) authoritarian state. “The band took everything to the extreme,” wrote Rolling Stone of the band’s hometown show from last year. “There’s a clown who blows himself up, and at one point, Gerard uses his one last gasping breath after being stabbed to launch a nuclear war … It’s all an astounding amount of creative output that makes for a stellar show.”
