Wearable tech from Meta, including artificial intelligence (AI) glasses and virtual reality (VR) headsets, has
created plenty of buzz, but it’s not always easy to understand how the devices actually feel to use. That’s why Best Buy launched Meta Lab.
Available at select locations across the U.S., Meta Lab at Best Buy offers customers a dedicated space to fully explore the Meta product lineup in person. Each shop-in-shop destination is designed for hands-on product discovery, letting curious customers get a closer look at AI glasses and VR headsets before deciding to purchase them. Besides the opportunity for hands-on testing, these spaces provide demos from experts, personalized fittings, and more.
Inside each Meta Lab at Best Buy, you’ll find interactive demos and displays for AI glasses — including Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, and Meta Ray-Ban Display — as well as Meta Quest VR headsets. There’s a dedicated style wall where you can try on all the different AI glasses to find the right fit and look. Meta Lab @ Best Buy has a UV light display to show how the transition lenses adjust to different lighting conditions.
If you’re looking for a VR headset, Meta Lab @ Best Buy offers demos of the Quest 3 and 3S. Here, you’ll be able to see the headset’s full range of features, including uses from gaming to entertainment to fitness content.
These spaces also include access to the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, which are the first in-lens display technology from Meta that’s controlled using a Meta Neural Band. This band lets you control the augmented reality (AR) display using gestures instead of buttons or a phone — something that needs to be experienced to fully understand.
No matter what you’re shopping for, you’ll be helped by a dedicated Meta sales specialist who can walk you through all of the technology and its possibilities, and provide fittings before you purchase.
The Meta Lab at Best Buy experience is currently available at the below Best Buy locations, but will be expanding to more stores soon.
