Peggy Gou is taking her show on the road this fall, and she’s taking a few Google Pixel accessories along with
her.
The DJ teamed up with Google last month to help unveil the Pixel 11 smartphone and the latest Pixel Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds. Gou was on hand for the tech giant’s “Made by Google” event in New York, where stars like Trevor Noah, Steph Curry, and Alex Cooper helped to introduce the new Pixel lineup.

Google Pixel 11 Pro
The new Pixel 11 Pro phone is slim and sleek but packed with big features, like a 50MP main camera and 48MP sensor, with improved light sensitivity to adjust for low light environments. A telephoto camera gets up to 5x optical zoom and up to 120x Super Res zoom.
A new “HiLight” feature, meantime, uses a notification light on the back of the phone to alert you when important calls or texts come in (you can assign specific colors to contacts in your phone). That way, you’re not tied to your screen and can decide whether or not to pick up.
There’s plenty of space for your favorite apps and everything is packaged into a sophisticated housing, powered by the Tensor G6 chip (the “fastest, most powerful chip yet,” according to Google) with an IP68 rating to be waterproof and dustproof.
Gou says she was eager to work with Google after getting a sneak peek at their new product lineup. “I try to keep brand partnerships intentional and matched to my personal taste,” she tells Rolling Stone. “I love that Google combines beautiful products with powerful technology.”
Gou has been spotted using a Pixel 11 Pro phone and the DJ says it “makes my life easier,” citing the phone’s “real-time translation [feature] when I’m traveling, hands-free control with Gemini, and ‘Magic Cue’ feature, which helps organize my life on tour, from connecting with my team, to group chats and logistics.”
“I really love the camera for capturing photos in settings where the light can be quite dark,” she adds. “The camera handles low light incredibly well. Plus, the design is refined and sleek.”

In addition to promoting the Pixel phone, Gou is also partnering with Google to promote their new earbuds, the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
Building off last year’s Pixel Buds 2a, the new earbuds feature improved noise cancellation and a more comfortable and secure fit. Spatial audio with head tracking creates an immersive, surround sound-style listening experience, whether you’re dancing to Gou’s DJ beats or streaming your favorite pop playlist.

Gou says she was impressed by the minimalist design and the small but mighty 11 mm drivers housed inside the buds. “Sound quality is everything to me,” she says, and “low quality earbuds flatten a track and can distract from the experience. When I’m previewing tracks on the go, I want to hear the full dynamic range. Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer a really wide soundstage with full EQ controls,” she continues, “so you hear the music exactly how the producer intended it to sound in the studio.”
Other features that impressed the artist: “I’ve been trying the hands-free Gemini controls and as someone who is always on long flights listening to music, the Sleep Auto-Pause feature is genius,” she says. “It senses when I’ve fallen asleep, pauses the music, and stops notifications so I don’t wake up to a dead battery.”

Gou has a string of dates in Europe before heading back stateside for the Head Trip Festival in October, and along with her new earbuds, she has two other things she’s taking on tour: “When I’m on the go, I have a famous snack bag which is actually changing all the time,” she says. “I go through phases with it and honestly everything from healthy to unhealthy is in there.”
And then there’s her Pixel 11 Pro phone, which never leaves her side. “I’m always sending star sign memes to my friends and I’ve been obsessed with [watching] all of the viral trends recently,” she says. “These products just fit into my world and my daily life.”
