On the eve of the WNBA All-Star Game, Barbie is releasing an exciting new doll that pays homage to one of the league’s
most popular players: Angel Reese.
The official Angel Reese Barbie doll lands in stores today, giving fans the opportunity to shop the MVP in shrunken-down Mattel form — complete with a player uniform, tiny accessories, and even matching Reebok sneakers (which you can purchase on Aug. 3).
Available for just under $38, the doll arrives in the middle of the WNBA season, where Reese, a forward for the Atlanta Dream, has been on a stellar run so far, averaging around 15 points per game. Reese was signed in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft, and now, in just her second season as a pro, she’s already become one of the league’s biggest stars.

Angel Reese Barbie Doll
Angel Reese’s popular nickname is the “Bayou Barbie,” which feels especially fitting for her latest endeavor.
Reese joins a growing list of athletes, celebrities, and notable figures who have received the Barbie treatment, including Venus Williams and Chloe Kelly. Most recently, Miley Cyrus received her own Barbie doll, sending fans into a viral frenzy as they rushed to get their hands on the collectible. Judging by Reese’s more than five million Instagram followers, this latest release likely won’t be any different.
“Throughout my basketball journey, I’ve always played by my own rules and refused to let anyone limit what I can achieve. Now, it’s my mission to inspire others to realize they have that same power to overcome their doubts and rebound from any obstacle. I hope young girls can look at this doll, lace up their Reeboks and feel inspired to confidently step into their power,” said Reese in a release.
The WNBA launched in 1996, but in recent years, the league, and women’s sports as a whole, has reached new heights in popularity. So far this season, select WNBA games have drawn nearly 2.6 million viewers, a staggering increase from years past. By comparison, the league averaged about 250,000 viewers in 2010, according to Sports Media Watch.
Reese also joins a lineup of WNBA players who have previously been modeled as Barbies, including Sue Bird and Rebecca Lobo. The Angel Reese Barbie is the latest addition to that collection, celebrating the continued rise of women’s sports while proving Barbie can truly do anything — even dribble down the court and knock down a three-pointer.
You can shop the Angel Reese Barbie online now while supplies last. The 2026 WNBA season runs through Sept. 24, and if you’re looking to catch the rest of the action, check out our comprehensive streaming guide for how to watch every game.
