Hundreds of thousands, if not many more, fans flocked to lower Manhattan earlier today for the first-ever championship parade for the New York Knicks. On hand were not only the 2026 Knicks and their families but also the mayor, Zohran Mamdani, Governor
Kathy Hochul and a slew of the team’s most high-profile celebrity fans, from Spike Lee, Ben Stiller and Timothée Chalamet to Fat Joe, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and Tracy Morgan. The fans, all of whom had been parked out for hours, were ecstatic, the confetti was flying, and the Michelob Ultra on the parade floats was flowing. Even former Knicks forward Steve Novak was on hand to sing the Knicks’ coach, Mike Brown’s favorite song, “Who Let the Dogs Out.” Rolling Stone was there to capture it all.
“I’ve never been to a parade, ever,” Lee told the MSG network during an interview mid-parade. “And I’m glad it’s this one.”
