Ben Shelton will be looking to be the first American man to win the U.S. Open since Andy Roddick, as the 23-year-old
faces off against Alexander Zverev in the 2026 U.S. Open men’s tennis final today in New York.
The 8th-seeded Shelton took down fellow American Frances Tiafoe in Friday’s semifinal to set up a clash with number-one seed Zverev, who is looking for his second Grand Slam win of the year.
