Mouni, who is preparing for the premiere of Salaakar on JioHotstar, shared her enthusiasm for the Kyunki reboot and reminisced about her experiences during filming.

In a special interview with Zoom, Mouni was inquired if she had caught any episodes of the show, to which the Brahmastra star replied that she has been busy with continuous shooting. She further mentioned, "I've actually watched a couple of episodes in fragments.
When asked about her feelings towards Kyunki 2, the actress expressed, "I was really thrilled. It's my Smriti 'Di' making a comeback along with my Ekta 'ma'am.' They feel like family. When you start your career at such a young age with people like them, I still recall her bringing me books and treating me to ice cream on days I felt down. We've shared so many years, and I was genuinely excited." The actress also conveyed Smriti's enthusiasm for the series, stating, "In fact, she's quite excited about the show as well."
