buzz online with the announcement of his forthcoming 54th film. This revelation was made during the festive celebration of Pongal 2026, officially introducing the project previously known as D54. The teaser's visuals distinctly convey the film’s dark and gripping atmosphere. Kara is produced by Vels Film International and helmed by Vignesh Raja, who received widespread praise for his initial thriller Por Thozhil. The film features a robust supporting cast that includes Mamitha Baiju, KS Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiarajan, and Suraj Venjaramoodu
