Radhika disclosed that she cannot work for more than 12 hours and acknowledged that many individuals do not agree with her stance.
Radhika Apte Cannot Exceed 12-Hour Workdays
In a conversation with Filmfare, Radhika Apte admitted that she cannot exceed 12 hours of work, which is part of her strict policy before taking on any project. She also prefers not to work more than five days a week.
Radhika Apte stated, “I've begun to stand my ground, and many people haven't appreciated it. I can't work beyond 12 hours. This includes everything from travel, hair, makeup, and the actual shooting. If my travel takes two hours, then the schedule must be adjusted accordingly. Naturally, there can be exceptions, but that's my firm rule. I require days off each week and ideally wouldn't want to work more than five days a week unless it's a small film where the project truly cannot proceed. I would prefer a five-day work week and a 12-hour shift.”
Radhika Apte further shared that many do not back her. She remarked, “No, a lot of people don't back me. There is some support and respect, certainly. But there isn't a great deal of backing.”
