Veteran actor Anupam Kher reminisced about his initial encounter with actress Kareena Kapoor when they unexpectedly crossed paths during a recent flight.
Sharing a few snapshots with Bebo from their surprise meeting, Kher reflected on their first introduction on the set of her debut film Refugee in 2000. He expressed that his first impression of Kareena was that of a stunning and self-assured young woman, determined to carve out her niche in the film industry.

On his official Instagram account, he shared on the photo-sharing platform, "IN FLIGHT WITH KAREENA: The first time I met #Bebo was on the sets of JP Dutta’s #Refugee! It was the year 2000, marking her debut film. She was incredibly beautiful, confident yet somewhat vulnerable, eager to achieve success (which she certainly did) and genuinely authentic as a person! (sic)."
Kher noted that throughout the years, he has witnessed Bebo evolve into a graceful actress, who continues to seek out remarkable roles, even after 25 years in the Bollywood industry.
"Over the years, I have seen her transform into a truly refined and graceful actress! Just yesterday, we were on the same flight! We discussed a variety of topics. 25 years later, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that she remains eager for exceptional roles, continues to be a lovely person who is genuine and enjoys engaging conversations," Kher remarked.
Kher also emphasized that despite the passage of time, Kareena still appears unchanged.

In addition to their collaboration in Bebo's debut film Refugee, Kher and Kareena also worked together in the 2014 film "The Shaukeens, alongside Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon, and Akshay Kumar.
