Amir Khan made his first public appearance as a married man just hours after tying the knot with longtime partner Gori Sprat. The couple's wedding was
an intimate ceremony held at Khan's residence in Bandra, Mumbai, attended by close family and friends. Following the ceremony, videos of Khan greeting guests and acknowledging the media outside his home quickly went viral, providing fans with their first glimpse of the newlywed actor.
During the event, Khan warmly interacted with guests, including his close friend and politician Raj Thackeray and his wife, Sharmila Thackeray, before bidding them farewell. Dressed in an elegant ivory fusion kurta paired with a matching dhoti, Khan exuded sophistication, complemented by a bronze brooch and thick-rimmed glasses. Earlier in the day, the couple had a registered marriage under the Special Marriage Act, marking a significant milestone in their long-standing relationship.
The first official wedding photograph released by Khan's team captured the couple signing their marriage documents, symbolizing the start of a new chapter in their lives. The family portrait included Gori's son standing between the newlyweds, while Khan's son, Azad, was seated beside them. The ceremony was made even more emotional by the presence of Khan's mother, Zeenat Hussain. Gori looked graceful in a regal beige ensemble, adorned with statement jewelry and a beautiful braided hairstyle.
The intimate celebration reportedly hosted over 100 guests, including Khan's children, Jaan and Ira Khan, along with Ira's husband, Nupur Shikhare. Notable personalities in attendance included filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, former cricketer Vinod Kambli, comedian Vir Das, and actress Ellie Avram. Khan and Gori's relationship spans nearly 25 years, evolving from a renewed friendship into love, with their wedding now officially marking the beginning of their life together as a married couple.
