Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been actively participating in this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, making several public appearances to offer prayers.
Following his attendance at the Ambani family’s celebrations and his own family’s Ganpati Visarjan, the actor was recently seen visiting the residence of politician Ashish Shelar to seek blessings. The visit, however, drew a significant crowd of onlookers and paparazzi, leading to a chaotic scene as the actor attempted to depart. Footage circulating from the event shows the actor navigating the dense gathering while wearing a casual outfit and a beanie. As the crowd pressed in, Khan was observed using a polite gesture, folding his hands to request that the attendees clear a path for him to reach his vehicle.
Managing the Crowd and Ensuring Safety
Despite the intensity of the situation and the difficulty his security detail faced in managing the surrounding throng, the actor maintained his composure. During the exit, a young child managed to approach him in hopes of a greeting. While the security team was actively working to clear the area, Khan intervened to ensure the child was not pushed or harmed.The actor paused to shake the child’s hand, personally ensuring the youngster was guided safely out of the immediate crush of the crowd before he continued toward his car. This moment followed his recent appearance at his brother Sohail Khan’s residence for the Ganpati Visarjan, where he was filmed participating in the aarti alongside his sister, Arpita Khan Sharma.
Upcoming Professional Projects
Beyond his recent festive appearances, the actor remains focused on his upcoming film slate. He is currently serving as the host for the reality series Bigg Boss 20. On the film front, he is set to star in an action thriller directed by Vamshi Paidipally, which will feature a collaboration with actor Nayanthara. The project, produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, is currently slated for a theatrical release during Eid 2027.Additionally, the actor is attached to the project titled Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Originally known as Battle of Galwan, the film underwent a title change earlier this year. While it was previously scheduled for an April release, the film was postponed, and a new premiere date has not yet been confirmed. Reports indicate that the production underwent reshoots to remove specific references to the 2020 Galwan Valley border conflict.
