As reported by Mid-Day, Vicky Kaushal’s role as Major Vihaan Shergill in Dhurandhar 2 will be an extended cameo. Conversely, Akshaye Khanna’s character will only appear in a few flashback sequences.
A source disclosed to the portal, “Aditya has kept quiet about the star power he is incorporating into Dhurandhar 2. The director, who aims to expand the Dhurandhar universe, has cleverly integrated a storyline from Uri despite the differing timelines of the two narratives. Vicky’s character from the war film, set in 2016, is introduced in this movie, although it is uncertain if he and Ranveer’s character will intersect. The cameo features several action sequences.”
“Vicky is among Aditya’s preferred actors. The director was eager to create scenes that could pave the way for a potential spin-off in the future,” the source added. For those unaware, Vicky Kaushal was initially slated to appear in Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama following Uri. However, the project was put on hold due to its substantial budget. Therefore, it will be exciting to see Vicky in Aditya’s film, Dhurandhar 2 – The Revenge.
