The highly anticipated Golden Divas Magical Tour, revealed in August as an extravagant eight-city concert series throughout the US, was set to feature
three Bollywood legends - Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Raveena Tandon, and Malaika Arora performing together. This event aimed to honor the glitz and dance enchantment of the ’90s, bringing together admirers of these iconic divas in one venue. However, just weeks ahead of the tour's commencement in October, the plans appear to have taken an unforeseen twist. What was originally intended to be a collaborative performance has now shifted to individual acts instead of the eagerly awaited trio showcase.
Reasons for the three stars not touring the US together:
As reported by Mid Day, the significant changes were attributed to scheduling issues and logistical challenges. Aligning dates, locations, and travel for three highly sought-after stars proved to be too complex to handle. Consequently, the initial structure of the Golden Divas Tour had to be abandoned. A source informed the news outlet, “Managing the schedules and obligations of the three stars was becoming nearly unfeasible. The timelines, locations, and travel arrangements made it impractical.”
At present, Malaika Arora will be performing solo in New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Miami, and San Diego from October 3 to 12. Madhuri Dixit, on the other hand, has opted to concentrate on her ongoing US tour that commenced last year. “This is an additional show to her current tour, no longer part of the Golden Divas concept. However, it is still with the same production company, Worldstar,” the same source added.
Regarding Raveena Tandon, her involvement remains uncertain. With filming obligations for her upcoming untitled project, sources indicate she may not have available dates to participate in the concerts.
