What is the story about?
Actor-producer Vin Diesel has provided an update regarding the upcoming chapter of the Fast & Furious series, titled Fast Xi, and has assured fans that
it will be a spectacular conclusion. The film is said to signify the conclusion of the beloved franchise, at least for the actor portraying Dominic Toretto. He has begun to reconnect with the audience following a lawsuit filed against him in December by a former assistant, who accused him of sexual battery. He has, however, refuted these claims, according to reports from deadline.com. Universal has now officially scheduled the next F&F installment — now named Fast Forever — for release on March 17, 2028.
Fast Forever Set To Release On Spring 2028
On Instagram, Vin wrote, "No one claimed the journey would be simple… but it’s ours. A path that has shaped us and become our legacy… And a legacy… endures forever. March 17th 2028! FAST FOREVER." Fans have inundated the comments with heart and love emojis, unable to contain their excitement for the upcoming installment of the franchise.
Diesel, recognized for his portrayal of Dominic Toretto, celebrated the announcement on social media, sharing a picture of himself with the late co-star Paul Walker, who played Brian O’Conner in the series. Walker passed away in November 2013 while Furious 7 was still being filmed.
