of his son Aryan Khan's forthcoming series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood. After the series trailer was unveiled on Wednesday, she took to social media to extend her congratulations to the father-son team. SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment is producing The Ba**ds of Bollywood, with Gauri Khan as the producer.
Aryan is not performing in the series; rather, he has taken on the roles of creator and director, collaborating with co-writers Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan.
The series features an impressive cast, including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, and Gautami Kapoor, and is also expected to include some remarkable cameos.
Discussing Aryan's ambition to direct, SRK remarked at the trailer launch, "When Aryan mentioned he wanted to create something about Bollywood that was raw and edgy with a touch of madness, I was concerned he might be planning to upload Mannat's CCTV footage on YouTube."
"He was actually bringing forth something innovative and distinctive. It took me a moment to grasp the tone of the series. But once I did, I was completely captivated. I am genuinely thrilled about it, not just for the show but for the entire cast involved. It’s the characters that infuse life into a narrative," he continued.
The series is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18, 2025.
