Additionally, she mentioned, "Thanks to Surekha and Vaishnavi, we completed it in under forty minutes. This year, you added much more white to the tree, and I’m really enjoying it. Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Christmas and an amazing year ahead. Love and peace to everyone!"
The actress and vocalist, who recently made headlines for her captivating performance at the title reveal event of director S S Rajamouli's Varanasi, had also shared how Oscar-winning composer M M Keeravani pleasantly surprised her when she arrived to record a song for the film.
On her Instagram, Shruti Haasan expressed, "It was an honor to sing for MM Keeravaani sir’s project. What a dynamic track… LET IT BANG, GLOBETROTTER."
Career Update
She continued, "I was sitting quietly, listening to sir on the piano. He mentioned that he typically starts his sessions with the Vigneswara mantram before anything else, so I thought that’s what he was about to play. Suddenly, I realized it was my father's song…! That moment was incredibly special. Thank you, sir, for your generosity and the warmth of the entire team that day. I can’t wait for you all to hear the track."
A few days later, the actress shared a video of her performing her first solo single on Instagram. In her post, she wrote, "I would have never shared this song if it weren’t for the wonderful evening I had performing Sanchari. We are fortunate to perform for thousands, but the silence before the applause is where the art meets the artist. When I went to record this epic track for Varanasi, Globetrotter @kaalabhairava7 told me he loved my song 'edge,' and it meant everything to me as an independent artist - so here’s the real deal. Every time I experience a significant stroke of luck, I will always remember my beginnings. This is the video I sent to @karanparikh27 during lockdown saying let’s create this - this was my first independent single. Grateful for the music and even more for the musicians!"
