The announcement was made by the production house, Bhavana Studios, on Sunday, September 13, marking the film's 24th day of theatrical release. Since its debut on August 21, 2026, during the Onam festival period, the film has maintained a strong presence in cinemas. By securing the top spot for domestic earnings in Kerala, the production has surpassed the previous record held by Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros. Alongside this regional achievement, the film has reportedly reached a significant global milestone, crossing the ₹300-crore mark in worldwide box-office collections, effectively overtaking Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra.

Directed by Girish A D, the film explores the story of Ashley, a woman who returns to Kerala from abroad and reflects on her past connection with a local caterer named Justin. The narrative structure shifts between the present day and the period when Ashley’s family relocated from Mundakkayam to Angamaly, where she first met Justin.
