Deepika Padukone is set to appear next in Shah Rukh Khan’s King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features notable actors such as Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff in significant roles, with a release date planned for 2026. Additionally, she is involved in AA22XA6, directed by Atlee, alongside Allu Arjun. There are also rumors that actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur will join the ensemble cast. Allu Arjun is expected to take on a quadruple role, marking his first film with multiple characters on such a grand scale. This will be Deepika's first collaboration with the Pushpa star. Regarding Deepika's scenes, a source informed Mid-day that, "Her segments, which will focus on action, will be filmed both in India and internationally."
Deepika was last seen in Singham Again (2024) and recently welcomed her first child, Dua Padukone Singh, with her husband Ranveer Singh.
