He elaborated that the absence of predetermined expectations allowed him the liberty to carve out his own path. The Maalik actor feels that this absence of pressure has enabled him to take on various characters. He expressed that he has always aspired to delve into a broad spectrum of narratives and personas, from serious to comedic, as it allows him to uncover new facets of himself and keeps his work both thrilling and authentic. Work Front Rajkummar was recently featured in Maalik, which premiered last month. The film also included performances by Medha Shankar, Manushi Chillar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Huma Qureshi, and Saurabh Shukla in significant roles. Directed by Pulkit, the movie received favorable reviews but did not make a substantial impact at the box office. Prior to this, he appeared in Bhool Chuk Maaf alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. The actor has yet to reveal details about his upcoming film. According to reports, he has an unnamed project with renowned director Shoojit Sircar in the works. Rao is also expected to team up with Aditya Nimbalkar, though official confirmation is still pending. On a personal note, the actor is preparing to welcome fatherhood soon.
