Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe has brought together vampire Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhediya Varun Dhawan in Thamma. As fans continue to discuss who delivered
the standout performance, both actors express deep respect for one another. Ayushmann recently commended Varun as an exceptional co-star with a keen sense of "rhythm" during action sequences. Thamma's Ayushmann Khurrana Praises Varun Dhawan In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, he remarked, "We were just thrilled. We began our journeys in the industry around the same time. In 2012, my film Vicky Donor premiered, and I believe Student of the Year was his debut. We kept running into each other at various events and shows. He is genuinely one of the nicest individuals and a fantastic co-actor. Even in the fight scenes, the best part was that no one got hurt at all. It was choreographed so well. It truly benefits you when your co-actor has a sense of rhythm." Ayushmann continued, "Fighting is akin to rhythm. The choreography is similar; you need to be on this beat at one moment and on that beat at another. If you can dance, you can perform fight scenes in movies." DYK 'Vikaspuri ka Wolverine' Was Improvised The Vicky Donor star also revealed how he crafted the humorous line for Varun's character. He explained, "I thought that since my first job was in Delhi, and my mother hails from there, even though I’m from Chandigarh, I’ve spent considerable time in Delhi. It feels like a second home. So I believed it would be nice to incorporate some local essence. And as they say, alliteration, anuprās alankār. So the phrase 'Vikaspuri ke Wolverine' had a unique charm to it. I think I just included that in." Thamma, which also features Rashmika Mandanna, is currently showing in cinemas. The film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
