Salman Khan's professional updates
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently the host of the well-known reality show Bigg Boss 19 while also shooting for his eagerly awaited film Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film draws inspiration from the 2020 confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh. Last month, the creators revealed the first look of Khan’s character through an eye-catching motion poster, depicting him with blood on his face, a prominent moustache, and a fierce, resolute expression.Discussing the physical challenges of the role, Salman remarked, “This film is extremely physically demanding. Each year, each month, each day it becomes more challenging. I need to invest more time in training now. Previously, I could manage in a week or two, but this project requires rigorous running, kicking, punching, everything. The Battle of Galwan necessitated that level of commitment. For example, in Sikandar, the action and character were quite different. But this one is physically draining, especially filming in Ladakh, at high elevations and in icy waters.”
