After captivating audiences in the Southern film industries, Malayalam actress Sai Pallavi is poised to make her Hindi cinema debut in 2026. Many anticipated
that Sai Pallavi’s inaugural Hindi film would be Ramayana. However, there’s an exciting twist: Sai Pallavi will be stepping into Bollywood with a romantic feature alongside Junaid Khan. The production team has recently revealed the film's title along with its release date. Produced by Aamir Khan, Sai Pallavi’s first Hindi film is titled Ek Din, and it is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, coinciding with Labour Day.
Ek Din Release Date Out
Aamir Khan’s production company has unveiled the first look of Ek Din featuring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan on Instagram. They captioned the post, “In the midst of life’s chaos, love will find you... Ek Din.”
In the promotional poster, Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan are depicted strolling down a street blanketed in heavy snow. They appear adorable together, enjoying snowy ice cream. The first look includes a tagline that states, “One love, one chance.”
The production team also confirmed that Ek Din will premiere on May 1, 2026. The film is helmed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit. The teaser for Ek Din is set to be released on January 16. Thus, Sai Pallavi's fans are eagerly anticipating her debut in a Hindi film. In addition to Ek Din, she will also star in Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
The grand epic’s first segment, Ramayana – The Introduction, is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026. The sequel of the Nitesh Tiwari-directed film will follow in Diwali 2027.
