What is the story about?
Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh frequently find themselves the subject of comparisons among fans and critics, leading to ongoing discussions
about who stands out more. Nevertheless, actor Naveen Kaushik, who has collaborated with both, asserts that they possess more commonalities than differences.
Common Work Ethic and Modesty
In a recent conversation with India Forums, Naveen remarked, “Neither of them depends solely on their fame or achievements; they prioritize forming authentic relationships with those around them. During my time on Rocket Singh with Ranbir, I noticed him making an effort to learn everyone’s name on set and connect with them. Likewise, on Dhurandhar, Ranveer took the initiative to know everyone’s name, personally meet them, and never assumed that people would come to greet him.”
Fostering a Positive Environment on Set
He continued, “Both possess incredible energy and have the knack for keeping the atmosphere on set enjoyable. They make sure that no one feels stressed or overwhelmed. They are not conceited celebrities; they approach everyone with grace. I recall working on Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir when he had already achieved significant stardom, yet he approached me on set to inquire about my career, which was a kind gesture on his part. On Dhurandhar, Ranveer also took the time to engage with the crowd, boost his co-stars’ spirits, and help them unwind. They both create a welcoming environment for everyone around them.”
About Dhurandhar
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the espionage thriller Dhurandhar has been performing exceptionally well at the box office since its debut on December 5. Within just eight days, the film surpassed War 2 to become the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, amassing Rs 372 crore globally.
The movie stars Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan in key roles, with Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and others in supporting roles. While critics provided mixed feedback, the film's strong word-of-mouth from audiences significantly contributed to its box-office triumph.
