Jr NTR commends Dhandoraa's cast and crew after viewing the film
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the South star expressed his views on Dhandoraa. He stated, "Just finished watching #Dhandoraa. Profoundly thought-provoking and impactful. Exceptional performances by Sivaji garu, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, and Bindu Madhavi throughout… Hats off to director Murali Kanth garu for the powerful writing and for bringing such an authentic story to life. Ravindra Banerjee garu, hats off to you for supporting this initiative. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for their contributions to such an extraordinary film."
Written and helmed by Murali Kanth, the Telugu film features Sivaji, Navdeep, Shree Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Bindu Madhavi, Mounica, Manika, and Raadhya. The plot of Dhandoraa centers on a romantic relationship between two young individuals from different castes. The girl's father, portrayed by Sivaji, disapproves of their relationship, leading to a tragic honor killing when the village elders murder the young man.
The young woman struggles to cope with the loss of her beloved and ultimately takes her own life. These harrowing events set the tone for the film. The 135-minute feature also follows a young man who returns to his hometown to pay his last respects to his deceased father.
