season. Friends and peers have taken to social media to honor the remarkable actor. Renowned star Amitabh Bachchan also posted a heartfelt message expressing his sorrow. Bollywood Pays Tribute To Asrani
In the wake of this tragic news, veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a touching video tribute and wrote: "Beloved #AsraniJi! Thank you for enriching the world with your presence!! Both on and off the screen! We will miss your physical presence! However, your contributions to cinema and your talent for making people laugh will ensure you remain in our hearts for years to come! Om Shanti!"
Meanwhile, superstar Akshay Kumar expressed, "Overwhelmed with sorrow at the loss of Asrani ji. Just a week ago, we exchanged the warmest hugs during the shoot of Haiwaan. A truly wonderful person… he possessed the most extraordinary comic timing. From my beloved films Hera Pheri to Bhagam Bhag to De Dana Dan, Welcome and our yet-to-be-released Bhoot Bangla and Haiwaan… I had the privilege to work with him and learn so much. Asrani passed away in Mumbai at approximately 4 pm on Monday after a prolonged illness. His last rites were conducted at the Santacruz crematorium in the city. The veteran actor’s death was confirmed by his nephew, Anand Asrani.
