Ikkis chronicles the life of Arun Khetarpal, from his commissioning into the 17 Poona Horse regiment post his graduation from the Indian Military Academy to his valorous deeds during the Battle of Basantar in December 1971. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films, this film introduces Akshay Kumar’s niece, Simar Bhatia. Agastya Nanda, the grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, will make his big-screen debut following his initial film The Archies, which premiered on Netflix.
