During his two-day trip to India, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited the Yash Raj Films studio in Mumbai today, October 8. He was joined by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani and actress Rani Mukerji for a special film screening.

Keir Starmer initiates largest UK-India trade mission from cockpit
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has initiated the largest trade mission from the UK to India while in the cockpit during a flight. He traveled with over 125 prominent business, academic, and cultural leaders. “This is the prime minister. I’m in the cockpit. And, a very warm welcome to BA Flight 9100 to Mumbai. It’s truly wonderful to have you all on board. This is the most significant trade mission to India that the UK has ever undertaken. I’m eager to collaborate with you as we uncover all the possibilities and fully leverage the benefits of our new free trade agreement,” PM Starmer stated.
Later in the day, Starmer is also set to take part in a football showcase event organized by the English Premier League at the Cooperage football ground in south Mumbai.
