It's been 14 years since Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol made its debut. On December 7, 2011, the Hollywood espionage action film was unveiled at the Dubai
International Film Festival (DIFF). As the film marks its 14th anniversary today, Anil Kapoor commemorated the occasion on his social media platforms. The seasoned Bollywood star took to Instagram to share joyful images with his co-star Tom Cruise and others. In one of the photos, he is seen alongside his daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Tom.

While posting pictures with Tom and Sonam on Instagram, Anil remarked, "Certain films remain etched in your memory, not solely due to their status as part of a renowned franchise or their worldwide acclaim, but because of the connections you forge throughout the journey. Directed by Brad Bird, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol showcased Anil as Brij Mehta, a business magnate based in Mumbai. The film also featured Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov, and others in significant roles.
Anil Kapoor's work front
On the professional front, Anil is expected to appear in Alpha. Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Bobby Deol, this spy action thriller is set for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026. It was previously slated for a Christmas 2025 release. Additionally, the veteran actor is rumored to be involved in Siddharth Anand's King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, although this has yet to be confirmed.
