The Telugu-language period action drama Ranabaali, featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has reached a significant financial milestone by
crossing the 50 crore net mark at the Indian box office. The film, which arrived in theaters on October 16, 2026, achieved this total after nine days of release. While the production has managed to secure a place among the top-performing regional films of the year, its overall commercial performance remains a point of concern given the substantial investment behind the project. On its second Saturday, the film recorded a collection of 2.8 crore, representing a 33.33% increase from the 2.1 crore earned on its eighth day. This brings the cumulative net collection to 50.1 crore, which translates to approximately 59.12 crore in gross earnings. Despite these figures, industry observers note that the returns are underwhelming when measured against the film's reported production budget, which is estimated to be between 120 and 150 crore.
Box Office Standing and Future Projections
With its current earnings, Ranabaali has officially surpassed the total net collection of Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin, which finished its run with 49.31 crore. This shift in the rankings makes Ranabaali the ninth-highest-grossing Tollywood film of 2026 in India. Analysts anticipate that the film may soon overtake Anaganaga Oka Raju, which currently holds the eighth position with 53.9 crore, depending on its performance in the coming days.Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is a collaborative production between Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films, with Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar serving as producers. The ensemble cast includes international and regional actors such as Arnold Vosloo, Easwari Rao, Luke McGibney, and Vladimir Angelove. As the film continues its theatrical run, the industry remains focused on whether it can sustain enough momentum to climb further up the 2026 domestic box office charts.
