Months ahead of their fourth wedding anniversary, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are set to welcome their first baby. Reports indicate that the little
one is expected to arrive between October 15 and 30. The soon-to-be parents are gearing up for the new addition to their family. As the countdown has reportedly commenced, Vicky excitedly discussed the prospect of fatherhood in the near future. During a recent event, the actor mentioned that the baby is ‘almost here’.

At Yuvaa’s event, Vicky expressed his eagerness to become a father. The actor stated, “Just being a dad. Really looking forward to it. I believe it’s a tremendous blessing, and these are thrilling times. Almost there, so fingers crossed. Mujhe lag raha hai main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hoon.”

On September 23, Katrina and Vicky announced the news on Instagram. Their post read, “On our journey to begin the most wonderful chapter of our lives with hearts brimming with joy and gratitude.”
Katrina Kaif's aspirations for motherhood
In a 2019 interview with Filmfare, Katrina shared her thoughts on having children, stating, “Lacking a father figure does create a certain void and can make any girl feel vulnerable. When I have children, I want them to experience the presence of both parents.”
She continued, “Every time I’ve faced something emotionally challenging, I found myself thinking how comforting it must be for those who have strong paternal support from a male figure who loves you unconditionally.”
After a couple of years of dating, Katrina and Vicky exchanged vows in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021. The ceremony was a traditional Hindu wedding attended by family and close friends.
On the professional front, Katrina has not taken on any new projects since Merry Christmas in 2024. Vicky is currently filming Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. His upcoming project is Mahavatar.
